- Wetwork is an offensive fighter with a Signature Ability that revolves around knocking the opponent into the air to gain ENRAGE and inflict ARMOR BREAK and DEATH MARK which altogether will amplify her damage greatly. Wetwork's first Signature Ability also grants her EVASION while charging a charge attack, allowing her to easily trip enemies without fear of being countered.
- EVASION also allows Wetwork to play aggressive by spamming unblockable charge attacks to start combos.
- Wetwork's second Signature Ability can be activated through the use of her charge attack, but also several of Valentine's special moves and blockbusters that knock the opponent into the air such as MORTUARY DROP, COUNTER VENOMS, FORBIDDEN PROCEDURE and LARYNGECTOMY. Players who are skilled at playing Valentine can chain these special moves and blockbusters to gain multiple stacks of ENRAGE in a single combo.
- Marquee Ability: ICU is the recommended Marquee Ability to provide Wetwork easy access to healing while on the offensive.
- Stat Investment: To capitalize on her offensive capabilities, Wetwork will benefit from investment in ATK, Crit Rate and Piercing. This will allow her to increase her damage output and increase the chances for critical hits that will deal extra damage to opponents that is suffering from DEATH MARK. Meter Gain is also recommended to charge blockbusters quicker.

- This variant is a reference to Hiryu, the main protagonist of the Strider series of action platformer games with its quote referencing Hiryu's name and its translation.
- This variant's Signature Ability, Aerial Rave, is the name of the air combo system from the Marvel vs. Capcom series.
