Signature Ability 1
Gain IMMUNITY and BLESSING every 15/12/10 seconds after facing the same opponent. Both effects are removed if the opponent TAGS OUT or dies.


Signature Ability 2
Gain permanent PRECISION after facing the same opponent for 25/20/15 seconds. PRECISION is removed when defeating an opponent.

Role & Strategy[]

  • Star Shine is a fighter with a Signature Ability that allows her to passively gain various BUFFS after a certain amount of time has passed.
    • Both IMMUNITY and BLESSING are timeless and does not expire, although it can still be removed via other means. This provides Star Shine inherent immunity to DEBUFFS and allows her to resurrect when she dies.
    • Meanwhile, PRECISION is permanent and cannot be removed until an opponent is defeated. This allows Star Shine to deal significant damage by chaining long combo hits through Annie's tools without fear of activating Signature Abilities of defenders such as That's All Folks!, Immoral Fiber and Resonant Evil.
  • Star Shine is best used offensively to make use of her permanent PRECISION and timeless IMMUNITY and BLESSING. The combination of these BUFFS allows Star Shine to proactively start combo chains without getting interrupted through DEBUFFS or defensive Signature Abilities.
  • On the defense, Star Shine will have to rely primarily on her first Signature Ability for resurrection and immunity to DEBUFFS. However, Star Shine does not offer any other defensive traits outside of these BUFFS and is easily countered by fighters that can remove BUFFS such as Silent Kill, Mean One, and Doublicious. A single OUTTAKE can also remove her BUFFS easily.
  • Marquee Ability: Star Shine will benefit from RED SHIFT to further increase her damage output easily through subsequent uses of blockbusters and special moves.
  • Stat Investment: As a variant that is best used offensively, Star Shine will benefit from investment in ATK and Piercing to further increase her damage. Meter Gain is also a useful stat to invest in to quickly charge her blockbusters and deal significant damage. After 15 seconds, every hit of hers will be a critical, so utilizing Crit Damage is an easy way to send her damage skyrocketing.
