Meow & Furever is a Light, Gold Ms. Fortune variant.
Tips and Tricks[]
Role & Strategy[]
- Meow & Furever is a defensive fighter with a Signature Ability that grants her FINAL STAND and stacks of PRECISION for every 10% health lost, allowing her to stall for some time. Furthermore, Meow & Furever can also inflict DEATH MARK and STUN when her FINAL STAND expires which allows her to punish opponents with massive damage with a sliver of health. Meow & Furever can be a dangerous defender to face without the proper counters and precautions.
- It is important to note that unlike Wrestler X, the BUFFS that Meow & Furever gains for every health lost does not only activate once. Hence, any form of health regeneration will allow Meow & Furever to activate her first Signature Ability once her health gets reduced again.
- Only the FINAL STAND from her first Signature Ability will trigger her second Signature Ability. Thus, modifiers and catalysts such as Last Words or support from fighters such as any Valentine with TRAUMA CENTER or Rock Star that can grant her FINAL STAND will not inflict STUN.
- Meow & Furever's FINAL STAND gets removed and then reapplied every time a health threshold is passed. This means that she's very susceptible to CURSE tactics if she's not on her last sliver of health, as passing a threshold with CURSE active will remove the FINAL STAND but not reapply it, leaving her with no method of survival.
- Meow & Furever's Signature Ability does not save her from reflect damage if she's not under the influence of FINAL STAND already.
- Marquee Ability: As a defensive variant, the Marquee Ability MLEM is recommended for Meow & Furever to gain some REGEN. This allows her to potentially stall longer by continually triggering her first Signature Ability to gain FINAL STAND when 10% of health is lost, only to be regained back again through MLEM.
- Stat Investment: Like most other defensive variants, Meow & Furever will benefit from investment in HP, Defense and Meter Gain to further increase her defensive capabilities and charge blockbusters quicker to punish opponents with an unblockable Tier 3 blockbuster.
Playing Against[]
- When facing Meow & Furever, it is recommended to use fighters that can remove BUFFS as she primarily relies on FINAL STAND to stall and later punish opponents. Fighters such as Silent Kill, Doublicious and Summer Salt are thus recommended to use as their Signature Abilities can remove BUFFS from Meow & Furever.
- Fighters that can inflict CURSE such as Purrfect Dark and Shadow Ops are also recommended to be used as they can prevent her from gaining BUFFS. Furthermore, fighters that can inflict HEX to completely disable her Signature Ability such as Red Velvet are also recommended to completely shut her down.
- If removing BUFFS is not an option, it is recommended to bring fighters that can gain IMMUNITY easily to avoid the STUN and DEATH MARK that can severely punish you. Some characters such as Parasoul, Peacock and Squigly have access to TAUNT that grant them IMMUNITY. Support fighters such as Surgeon General and Sketchy can also provide IMMUNITY.
Trivia[]
