Signature Ability 1
Every 10th COMBO HIT landed on Black Dahlia or the opponent grants UNFLINCHING for 5/7/10 seconds. Also gain permanent PRECISION while benefiting from this UNFLINCHING.

Signature Ability 2
ALL SHOTS are UNBLOCKABLE and grant IMMUNITY for 5/7/10 seconds while benefiting from PRECISION.

Tips and Tricks[]

Hex Caliber is an offensive fighter with access to permanent PRECISION, unblockable shots and IMMUNITY. This combination of utilities, on top of Black Dahlia's offensive kit, makes Hex Caliber a very powerful offensive variant capable of dealing very high damage while ignoring a majority of defensive strategies with very little drawbacks.
- Black Dahlia can easily achieve 10 COMBO HITS without difficulty to gain permanent PRECISION which ignores Signature Abilities of very potent defenders such as Immoral Fiber, Death Wish, Plot Twisted and Evergreen Evil.
- Black Dahlia has access to DEADEYE which ignores certain defensive BUFFS (AUTO-BLOCK, THORNS, EVASION and UNFLINCHING) and DEATH MARK which increases the damage taken by the opponent from CRITICAL HITS.
- IMMUNITY prevents DEBUFFS like HEX or CURSE from crippling her and reducing her viability.
- Unblockable shots allows Hex Caliber to be aggressive by cornering the opponent and restarting combo chains easily.

In defense, Hex Caliber can be bothersome as her UNFLINCHING can disrupt the player's combo chain by ignoring all their attacks. Furthermore, Black Dahlia's Marquee Ability NO TIME TO DIE can also punish the opponent's CRITICAL HITS by gaining REGEN and HASTE to recover health and charge her blockbusters faster. However, these BUFFS can easily be countered by BUFF removal tools such as Eliza's CHAOS BANISH. So Hex Calibre is recomended to be built purely offensive.

Marquee Ability: As an offensive variant, Hex Caliber will benefit from METAL BREAKDOWN as her Marquee Ability to increase her damage output from ARMOR BREAK and the extra damage boost to her SPECIAL SHOTS.

General Investment: As an offensive Dahlia, Hex Caliber is best built with Attack, Special Cooldown and Crit Damage. Due to Dahlias Prestige Ability that grants DEADEYE and Marquee Ability which inflicts ARMOR BREAK, Piercing can be completely ignored.
Special investment: Players can also invest in Meter Gain. Players should completely ignore Crit Rate as she can have constant uptime of PRECISION.

This variant's color palette is a reference to Bayonetta (specifically, her Bayonetta 3 appearance) from the Bayonetta series.
This variant has unique visual flairs in combat. When landing after dashing back or using a BLOCKBUSTER, a glyph circle will appear at her feet and on herself mid-action, respectively, referencing Bayonetta's magic circles when attacking in the original trilogy. Additionally, when dashing, butterflies will spawn.
