Tips and Tricks[]

Dread Locks is a defensive fighter with a Signature Ability that reflects damage back to the opponent. Furthermore, she can inflict HEAVY BLEED when hit, making her a dangerous defender without the proper counters.

Dread Locks primarily relies on her recoil damage as a defender. Hence, using fighters that can recover back health like Bio-Exorcist or through REGEN such as Bloodbath, Princess Pride, or any Valentine with the ICU Marquee ability are great counters to use.
- Another option is to use fighters that can inflict HEX to completely disable her Signature Ability, such as Red Velvet, Heart of Darkness and Rainbow Blight.

Hitting Dread Locks with PRECISION is also effective, as it would disregard her Signature Ability and no recoil damage will be taken. Characters with on-demand PRECISION from their TAUNTS are Parasoul and Ms. Fortune. Some fighter specific options are Star Shine and Windswept as their PRECISION is permanent.

Marquee Ability: Dread Locks prefers LEECH as her Marquee Ability as a defensive variant, since it can build more health for her to take more damage throughout the battle. This increases her sustainability, which can consequently increase the damage she reflects on opponents, while also pressuring her opponent to continue attacking Dread Locks to avoid her from any bonus healing, as LEECH heals on Blocked Hits as well.

General Investment: As a defensive Filia, Dread Locks is best built with HP, Resistance, Meter Gain and Defense.
Special investment: No Special Investment is needed for this fighter.
