- Demon Artist is an offensive fighter that takes advantage of BLEEDS to increase her offensive output while providing regeneration. This combination of abilities allows Demon Artist to deal significant damage while maintaining her health high, a unique trait among Squigly variants.
- Squigly variants tend to have lower than average ATK stat but Demon Artist have a respectable average ATK which is only amplified by easy access to ENRAGE from a single blockbuster use.
- Health regeneration is not a common trait in Squigly's kit, allowing Demon Artist to stand out among other variants.
- Squigly have access to long chain of combos which tends to deal low damage for every hit, making Demon Artist prone to heavy BUFF defenders such as Heavy Metal that can gain ARMOR for every hit. To alleviate this, it is recommended to equip moves such as DRAUGEN PUNCH to inflict CURSE and prevent defensive BUFFS from disrupting her strategy and making it easier to whittle down the opponent's health by 15%.
- Once the opponent is inflicted with BLEED, Demon Artist will start to snowball, increasing her damage output through ENRAGE and inflicting more stacks of BLEED for every health lost by the opponent.
- Equip blockbusters that can be chained together in succession such as DRAG 'N' DROP > INFERNO OF LEVIATHAN > BATTLE OPERA to gain multiple stacks of ENRAGE and REGEN in a short amount of time and quickly defeat the opponent.
- Marquee Ability: Either Marquee Ability works with Demon Artist since both conditions require her to be dead. EVIL DEAD can be useful on the offense to inflict both CURSE and WITHER, making it easier for the next fighter to defeat opponents. DEAD ALIVE is better to be used defensively, providing other teammates FINAL STAND to increase the longevity of your defensive fighters and stall for time.
- Stat Investment: As an offensive variant, Demon Artist will benefit from investment in ATK, Piercing and Meter Gain to increase her damage output and quickly charge blockbusters to finish opponents.
