Catalysts are selectable modifiers that can be put on node on Rift Battles. There are Element Specific, Character Specific, and Unspecific catalysts.

Ms. Fortune | Scratching Post | Ms. Fortune inflicts SLOW and DEATH MARK for 2 seconds when her attacks are blocked. When reaching 5 stacks of SLOW the opponent becomes STUNNED for 3 seconds | Increase slow duration by 1 second per level |
Painwheel | Don't Poke the Buer | Painwheel cannot suffer more than 10% health from a single hit. When any hit suffered deals 10% health, reflect 50% of the damage | +5% reflected damage increase per level |

- Each element has two catalysts. One can be obtained at any rarity level, and the other is only gold.

Air | Into Thin Air | Every 20 seconds,all DEBUFFS are removed and all opponent BLOCKBUSTERS are reset | Reduce cool down by 1s per level |
Fire | Rising Temperatures | Gain a 10 second ENRAGE every 10/7/5 seconds. Each ENRAGE is removed on the next landed hit. | Increase enrage duration by 2s per level |
