Role & Strategy[]
- Blue Screen is a defensive fighter with a Signature Ability that grants her timeless stacks of ARMOR which is only removed when knocked down, making her impenetrable to long chain of combos. Furthermore, Blue Screen's detonation makes her a dangerous defender that can potentially take down players with her if not careful. Hence, Blue Screen is a formidable defender that requires careful play to properly counter.
- Note that getting killed by Blue Screen's detonation counts as a defeat.
- Marquee Ability: As a defensive variant, DDOS is the recommended ability for Blue Screen which allows her to inflict POWER SURGE to opponents, reducing their HP when they use a blockbuster.
- Stat Investment: Like most defensive fighters, Blue Screen will greatly benefit from investment in HP and Defense to significantly bolster her defensive capabilities. Meter Gain is also recommended to quickly charge blockbusters to punish opponents with an unblockable Tier 3 blockbuster.
Playing Against[]
- Due to Blue Screen getting ARMOR every few seconds, using characters with long-chain combos such as Squigly and Robo-Fortune can be less effective than using characters with short high damage combos like Cerebella and Beowulf. However, do note that certain blockbusters such as Squigly's DRAG N' DROP as well as Robo-Fortune's CATASTROPHE CANNON OMEGA has a chance to inflict ARMOR BREAK and remove BUFFS to bypass this problem.
- Blue Screen depends a lot on her ARMOR stacks, so using fighters that can remove BUFFS such as Silent Kill and Doublicious are highly recommended as these fighters allow you to remove her ARMOR stacks while still dealing considerable damage with combos. Furthermore, fighters that can inflict CURSE such as Purrfect Dark are also highly recommended as it completely nullifies Blue Screen's first Signature Ability.
- Fighters that can inflict ARMOR BREAK such as Pea Shooter and Star-Spangled may also be useful to remove her stacks of ARMOR. However, it is important to note that Blue Screen herself can remove the ARMOR BREAK when she gains ARMOR, so you will have to inflict ARMOR BREAK consistently to be effective.
Rift Battles[]
- Blue Screen excels as a defensive wall in stalling time as she has a very high HP stat to soak damage with and an incredible defensive Signature Ability. Blue Screen synergizes very well with the Frost Armor catalyst as it lets her inflict recoil damage and gain ARMOR stacks even easier.
- Furthermore, Blue Screen's detonation ability makes it difficult to gain points for a blockbuster finish. On the moment that she detonates, players will have to use another blockbuster during her detonation to gain points. Projectile-based blockbusters are recommended for this as they often have a longer duration of effect. Eliminating Blue Screen with PRECISION hits is also a good way to bypass this.
